  • Also known as Krita yug.
  • Comes after cycle of four yug.
  • Human age in this yug is four times than the age in Kali yug.

  • People are Religious and healthy.
  • Importance of Tapasya (Heat) in this yug.
  • Majority of the people believe about existence of God.
  • Majority of people enjoys the happiness of Swarg (Heaven).


61502 BCE:  Treta yug (Silver Age)
Characteristics:
  • Duration of 50000 years.
  • Known as Silver Age.
  • Human age in this yug is three time than the age in Kali yug.
  • Dharma has dominance declines from that in Sat yug.
  • People are Religious, quite god and possess less knowledge.
  • Importance of Gyan (Knowledge) in this yug.
  • Half of the people on the earth believe about existence of God.
  • Population on the earth double compared to Sat yug.


11502 BCE: Dwapar yug (Bronze Age)
Characteristics:
  • Duration of 8400 years.
  • Known as Bronze Age.
  • Human age in this yug is two time than the age in Kali yug.
  • People declining in terms of dharma compared to Sat yug and followers of Truth.
  • Importance of Yagna (Sacrifice) in this yug.
  • Forth of the people on the earth believes about existence of God.
  • Population on the earth half compared to Kali yug.


3102 BCE: Kali yug (Iron Age)

  • Known as Iron Age.
  • Human age in this yug is forth the age in Sat yug.
  • People are interest, cheater, lier and fraudulent.
  • Importance of Daan (Donation) in this yug.
  • Few of the people on the earth believe about existence of God and reach to almighty.
  • Population on the earth four times compared to Sat yug.
